Oddly non-stereophonic

The sound is amazingly crisp and well amplified, but isn't stereo, so you have no directional input as to where sounds originate from. I've owned several brands over the years, and this ones sound is amazing, but confusing...you can't tell if sound is from the right or left, it's perfectly blended.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These are a great set of all-around ear protection. Whether I'm on the range, out hunting or taking the kids to a monster truck rally, they always get the job done. Very compact and I love that they amplify sounds so I can talk to people without having to remove them.

These ear muffs are unbelievable. Wish I'd have bought them sooner. Once you try them you'll want a pair for each person you hunt or shoot with. They sell themselves when you use them.

I bought these at a local sporting goods store. They were comfortable to wear, adjustable and blocked loud range discharges while allowing you to hear range commands, etc. That is, right up to the time they stopped working and despite putting in fresh batteries they are a no-go. I wish I could say I wore them out but had only used them about twenty times. Disappointed.
