Disappointed in cars

We love Magnatiles in our house. We have a growing collection. But we were disappointed in this set. The cars have to be perfectly aligned for them to go down any sort of dip. My toddler was having a hard time getting it to go down the track on his own without them falling off the side. Thus making it tricky for him to play with independently. All the other pieces are great and we love the tracks but the cars were disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
