Embrace the Battery... no more gas!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Snow Joe 48-volt MAX iON+ snowblower arrived just in time for another Buffalo Snow storm. Being hesitant about the battery ability to handle 5+ inches of wet sloppy snow, I set out to do battle. Taking less than 3 hours to charge the high-performance batteries, I found the convenience of the pushbutton starter wonderful after the old pull-start cord on the gas snowblower.... speaking of which, no more gas spilled on my gloves, no clothes smelling like gas... I love it! The Snow Joe cleared right down to the concrete driveway, no layer of snow left behind. The 22" swipe covered a large area quickly. Snow Joe completely cleared my driveway plus the sidewalks and the batteries still had power! I found this snowblower to be a convenient size and weight for me to handle. You can't go wrong with the Snow Joe!

Bring on the snow!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this to review by TryIt Sampling. This came just in time as it snowed day after it arrived. It was incredibly easy to assemble. It literally just snapped together. We charge the batteries up popped them in and we were good to go.
This was lightweight
This snowblower was lightweight. Not Heavy at all to push. Did a really good job clearing out the snow. We used it in the front of the house and around the cars. Everybody was really amazed at how well the snowblower worked. Overall I am very pleased with this product. very pleased.

We live in Maine so we get a lot of snow in the winter. I normally hate snow but having this product makes life that much easier.

Great performance - pleased with purchase

Upgraded my electric snowjoe to this cordless version and I was impressed. Cut through 8 inches in our last snowstorm quickly with battery power left to spare. Easy to use and overall i've made good use of it this winter. Nice job snowjoe. I'll be looking at your garden tools for the spring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a great alternative to a gas powered snow blower. It was easy to set up. The battery lifetime is efficient and easy to charge the two batteries. It snow blows down to the pavement. It is like a clean sweep. The crank for the chute was a bit difficult at times to crank. It works wonders with slush like what one gets at the bottom of their driveway. The one time we did get heavy wet snow it did clog a few times but was easily able to unclog. Overall this is a great alternative to a gas powered snow blow. This is definitely worth the investment!

light weight and works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Snow Joe snow blower worked great. I had no problem clearing 4 inches of snow from my sidewalk and driveway. Extremely lightweight, which is a plus. The batteries charged within two hours. I really like the headlights on it, easier to see at night. I was able to assemble it very quickly. Does seem to have mostly plastic pieces though. But it does what it needs to do and I'm happy with it.

Shockingly Effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to be completely honest, I wasn't expecting too much from the Snow Joe 22" 1600W Snow blower. About 2 days after I picked this up, we got about 12" of snow. Personally, I prefer to keep things clear throughout the storm, so I did two passes, with about 6" of snow on the ground each time. While it was a lighter snow (by Boston's standards), this thing powered right through. It gets close to the ground, so there wasn't any shoveling required afterward.
The batteries charged in just over an hour and I was able to use the machine for 35+ minutes without further charging.
The only potential drawback is that it is not self propelled. Personally, I view it as a positive as outdoor exercise can be tough to come by in the winter time. However, this could be an issue with heavy/wet snow in the early/late winter. I'd definitely think twice if the operator is small/elderly.
Overall, I highly recommend this Snow Joe 22" 1600W snow blower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Snow Joe 24V-X2-SB22 48 volt single stage snow blower is a little beast. It easily cut through 5 inches of snow on our driveway. It also works perfect on our new Trex deck I installed in the spring. The battery life was very good and charged quickly. I could not be happier. I was wary of a battery operated snow blower but the Snow Joe convinced me I had nothing to worry about.

I have a bad back and it’s hard to use my gas blower..this one pop the two lg batteries in the blower..and off you go.. you can push it so easily..The aching actually throws the snow farther than my gas one..great for med to lg drive ways and a walk way on a single charge easily.
