Filter works well, no spewing of ash into house. Could be a higher volume but realize filtering must keep ash dust inside unit. Good Job. Nice size, and construction.

We do have the ash around the wood stove. But sweeping wasn't doing the job and our other vacuum was getting clogged. With the SnowJoe woodstove vacuum it is much cleaner around the stove and it even will accept hot ash as well!. Less ash even in the room now.

This products is well priced, it's quiet, light weight and does a wonderful job cleaning my Harmon pellet stove. It doesn't have ther suction of the Cougar, but the Cougar is almost 300 dollars, and very noisey. I plan to get a second one soon, I have no hesitation rating it highly

I have used this vac to clean out my pellet stove on a weekly basis now - so about 5 usages to date. It has worked w/o any problem - no overheating, failure to suck up the ash preset in the stove, or any other problem. I am quite pleased with this product so far.
