There was Nothing Simple About Installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Netgear router was my third router (first Netgear) over the years. I've had fiber-to-the-home for over 12 years and no longer require a modem. Problem? The Netgear router would never connect to the internet. After working with my local internet provider for 30 minutes, I then spent nearly 7 hours of my life with 5 different Netgear Tech Support people trying to identify why the router would not connect to the internet. A hardware failure was finally identified. (The return and replacement procedure was flawless.) Only trouble was that the new/second router STILL didn't connect! I was informed that my case would now advance to Netgear's Level 2 tech division. My 5th (and last) tech person couldn't transfer my call to the Level 2 department (red flag warning!) so I would get a call

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Nighthawk a week ago. It has jumped up my wifi speeds beyond anything I've used before. I had been using a modem/router combo that had become erratic and undependable. The AX2400 gets much closer to my ethernet speeds than anything I've used before. And I'm liking the phone app for access. That also makes guest use easy.

The worse experience I ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The company doesn’t want customers as it only offer a 90 warranty/ Telephone support but has silly UN needed upsells after installation, The security system, bit- defender , parental protection which is provided free by my internet service. They offer me a extended warranty for 2 or more for vert unreasonable considering they were going to charge me after 90 for phone support. There was no indication of anything within the software of WIFI 6 or mentioned of it so I how do I know it even exists? They Night Hawk was hard to use to manage all my devices because it showed them in separate locations, My previous router broke so I couldn’t download the App to set up . I called got the process half way working but had issues with a hour after that so I called back . When I called the system said it hold my place in line and someone would call back shortly after a couple hours they called but the guy claim he was having technical difficulties and would call back in 30 minutes but I never heard from him . I had to figure it out by self and eventually did but the whole process took a whole frustrating day , That night I new this was the company I want to deal with for the next few years so I got up took it back and bought a Linksys which I had running within a hour without any issues. I am still trying to get my refund back 5 days from the purchase of the extended warranty. Then the are sending unprofessional emails to me about not ending my privacy issues and the data collected. It is a router I definitely do not want them collecting any data from me about what I am doing online, why would I when I use my internet for banking, Doctors, Prescriptions etc . that is very scary. What a shame this company has gone so extremely away from the customers who made it famous.

Incredible Upgrade

Had been using an old router for years and decided to see if a new one would increase transmissions speeds for streaming and computing. Luckly I found this one. It was simple to install and setup (almost did it itself), incorporate existing wireless appliances. Wow, what a huge difference!!! Also, I had one technical question, and was able to get someone on the phone very quickly, and they were able to answer my question.

Best wifi router ever

Dramatic difference

Went from an old router from our ISP, and went with a brand I know. The increase in Wi-Fi speed and coverage was immediate, and impressive.
I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get rid of their ISP’s router you are probably renting.

Worked as intended. Easy installation. Good size and not bulky like some others. Compatible with modern wifi changes and past wifi versions. Good price.
