Fast WiFi

It’s fast but supposed to cover 2500 sq ft my house is 1600 ranch style and the signal drops off bad in the other end of the house and the other issue is it will not let me change the name assigned to the router from netgear the Ethernet connection is named netgear 18 and even after I’ve changed the name on the 2.5and the 5g and it still identifies as netgear18 and that has caused a headache I’ve tried every fix I find and it will not change or even let me turn it off short of unplugging the Ethernet cable even after I’ve set the name and passwords it stays the same and has caused connectivity issues it’s a strong router if your in the same room
But drops drastically as you move through the house my netgear r7000 was better for distance and connectivity it wasn’t as fast but way more reliable than the rax30

I purchased for a 3 story townhouse to allow me to stream Slingtv at night and work from home during the day while frequently being on Zoom. It works great and was easy to install!

This us coming from what could best be described as a novice. The router was a breeze to get connected with the app. Just switched to ATT fiber optic and now I see a difference with new NETGEAR router.
