Doesn’t transmit very far

I bought this to replace my very old router before it stops working after 8 years of service. It was not hard to install and set up, however it would not cover my whole house and would not even begin to reach my garage where my old Apple airport did easily. This router is very low powered and would only be suitable for a one room solution at best.

I recently purchased a NetGear Nighthawk AX2400 WiFi 6 Router (RAX30). Set up was fairly easy but I did have a couple of questions and called the number provided and received excellent service. Completely recommend the Nighthawk.

I've had my router for a week now, and it has been performing great. I had a little hiccup on the initial setup, but it seems like that was my fault for setting it up wirelessly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this as an upgrade to 7 year old router. Great price for better speed and reliability. Setup was intuitive, but had to figure out how to re-pair my extender but once done, all is well.
