Bought this so I didnt have to rent one from internet provider. It works great, a little complicated to set up but the app is pretty decent. It also makes it a breeze to change the name and password of your wifi. Mines RumpleForeskin, whats yours?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a little research to find a router replacement for my aging Linksys AC1200. I was having some trouble connecting wirelessly from the far side of the house. The house is not large enough to warrant a mesh set up and I wanted to keep the expense down. I strongly considered TP-Link, Asus and Netgear largely based on reviews. Choosing to do the install myself I ran into trouble with the set up app. The app ultimately hung and referred me to phone support but the number the app provided was not a good number. I called the support number that came packaged with the router. I have to say this was the most pleasant and helpful support call I have ever been on. The support folks were pleasant, patient, and very knowledgeable. Router was up and running in no time and I learned quite a bit in the process. The router signal is very good throughout the house. I am no longer experiencing buffering issues with my wireless TV set up. So, I am very pleased. Glad I got the Netgear. Can't imagine other vendor support being any better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Install literally took 10 minutes max. Instantly compatible with all my devices and ISP, and good speeds to boot! The nighthawk app is also a lot nicer than my previous one. Great purchase!
