Worked well, top gets hot though, & guidebook need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try out this waffle maker to make the Potato Smashbrown Waffles I’ve seen all over my social media. I appreciate that there are controls that go from 1-5, however there was no guide to what temperature those numbers correlate to. I like my food extra crispy so I’ll probably always use 5. I also appreciate that there’s a preheat option, and it lights up when ready. However, I didn’t even know whether I was supposed to preheat with it opened or closed and again, it wasn’t in the guidebook, so I had to look up on my own (closed, if you’re wondering).
You can make 2 large waffles at a time, and can turn one off if you want to only make one which is a nice feature.
My potato waffles came out good. It was a bit of a pain to clean, but that is just because of the little grooves and would be that way for any waffle maker.
My only real complaint is how how the top part got while closed. If I had little kids around, I would be afraid of them accidentally touching it. There should be some kind of anti-burn cover. I didn’t actually burn myself when I touched it, though.
Lastly, the guidebook said “before next use, lightly grease the cooking plates for easy removal of cooked DONUTS”. lol

Really nice !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so easy to use and it really makes the perfect waffles! I definitely leave them in longe than the directions say but it makes them nice and crispy while still light and fluffy on the inside. It doesn’t leave them undercooked or overcooked and cleanup is really easy too!

Yummy waffles!

Not only is it time saving, but I am able to make extra to save in the freezer. The buttons are easy to to and it is even easier to clean. We are very happy with the results of the waffles we made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy machine. Wish it had a way to indicate when it was done cooking. Seems pretty easy to clean. The plates aren’t removable, but it only needs a quick wipe down.

Heats up fast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this waffle maker almost daily to make grilled cheese for my son and he loves them, it also makes some really delicious chocolate chip waffles! It has two sides so it’s convenient to make multiple things at once. It heats and cooks things really fast and it’s super simple to find storage space in the kitchen for. So far it’s one of my favorite cooking appliances.

Truly non stick!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made ube mochi waffle mix and protein waffles! Absolutely non stick for both with a little butter (alternatively use spray oil). Double sided temp control is perfect for two different type of mixes. The indicator lights easily let you know when things are ready. Wish the plates were removable for easy cleaning without dragging the machine to the sink but with it non-stick you could probably wipe it down honestly.
