Efficient dryer

This dryer dries much faster than my old dryer. I can fill it with towels and bedding, or a load of jeans and it still does a good job.
I like that I can adjust the features for delicates. I admit that I am still nervous about washing my fine washables in the machine, but have washed a few things and they have come out fine.
I didn't purchase the stands because they didn't fit with existing cabinetry. No problem with the height without.
Pros: Performance
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall good but some issues

Generally like the dryer and all its features. 98% of the time it dries everything well but there have been a few times were things were still damp. The drum recently started making aloud noise when you first start the dryer. This noise goes away after less than a minute. Called LG and they said this was normal. But I don't like it. Dryer is still working with out issuesbut the noise worries me.
Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings

Wonderful Dryer

I love this dryer! Its makes me want to actually do my luandry instead of dreading it. Before with my old dryer I had to dry my clothes twice before they were all the way dry. With this dryer, I only have to do it once also depending on the setting of which I use with the clothes or towels or blankets I am drying. I love the freatures that I can select what it is I am drying so it knows how much time to give it. Its a very smart feature and I don't know why dryers haven't always been able to do that. I havent noticed one thing I don't like about this dryer since I have had it for 3 months.

Stacking Dryer on top of Washing Machine
on September 20, 2013

Since purchasing both the LG Washer and Dryer there has been a storage issue. So I decided to stack the dryer on top of the washing machine. That solved the storage issue! However picking up the wet laundry and lifting it into the now above dryer there is an issue!! So what I did was cut a plywood sheet so that it slides in-between the space of the bottom of the dryer and the washing machine. I can slide this piece of plywood out, creating a shelf to where I can lift the wet laundry that is in a laundry basket onto this shelf. I then can throw in the wet laundry into the dryer. When clothes are dried, pull out the plywood shelf, put the laundry basket on the shelf and remove dry laundry into laundry basket. Does your company have such an attachment and if not would you consider using my idea? I have pictures of this current idea should it spark your interest. Regards, David

Clearly we got the bum product!

I can't help but notice that EVERYONE else loves their dryer! I'm glad! However, I hate it. It takes a minimum of 3 hours to dry even a small load of laundry. We had a service man out to test it and he assured us it was working properly, but it still takes 3-5 hours per load to dry. I can't imagine how this is ever considered Energy efficient!
Pros: easy to use
