This is a great surge suppressor for 220 volts. I'm in the military and used it for about two years in Iraq where the voltage isn't that stabile. After frying a computer with a cheap surge suppressor, I needed something more reliable and this has fit the build so far.

I purchased it for use in India where the voltage is 220V. The power cord has three pin 110V and all the four sockets are designed for pugs used in USA I ended up paying $20.00 for four three pin adapters that will accommodate 220V input. I have no way of checking if it is doing its job. However tripp-lite has good reputation and assume it works as specified

In a recent event in rural montana, I lost two valuable electronic devices because I did not have adequate surge protection. Fortunately I did have a Tripp-Lite on my audio visual system. Since then I have punched two more Tripp-Lite protectors for my other electronic equipment, unfortunately to late for the equipment I lost! But I am now covered completely on all my expensive electronic devices by Tripp-Lite. One can be assured that their expensive computers and related electronics are safe from surges and weather related spikes from your devices!

ISOBAR4/220 Review

We don't often think of our dishwashers needing protection from power surges, but I'm here to tell you that you should. As more and more of our appliances are updated with electronic control boards the need to seek a high quality surge protector should be high on your "To Do" list. After two electronic circuit boards failed on my Sears Kenmore dishwasher, I started searching the web for surge protector I could depend on. After Google returned many hits for my search, my eyes stopped on the brand I've trusted for years, Tripp Lite, because I've owned a few over the years and some were still serving me well as they are built like a tank. Model ISOBAR4/220 had high ratings and specifications to meet my needs. If you can hook up an extension cord you won't have any trouble installing this device. Now, over a year later with several of our Texas thunder storms behind me, my dishwasher is still going strong with no more problems and I know it's due to the protection of my Tripp Lite Surge Protector. How nice it is to know that one of the best known names in country still building the best products on the market. I trust Tripp Lite today just as I did years ago. Thanks Tripp Lite for your continued high standards and great products.
