A little tricky to install but great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the box you get the light, mounting hardware, socket adapter, and instructions. This light works with both five inch and six inch holes. There is an adapter to screw it into existing light sockets. You can screw it in and recess the old light sockets into the ceiling. After that you just connect the two orange connectors together and mount the light into the hole. To use the Wi-Fi features you just install the wiz lighting app and connect the light. The app is cool because you can change the light to many many different colors and turn the light in and off. You can also link the app to Alexa or Google to set up routines and control it with your voice. Halo is a very high quality brand so this light should last for a long time. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to upgrade their lights to a more modern look and feel and wants to add smart home features to their home.

Nice light with nice features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light was easy for me to physically install because I already had ceiling light housings in place. With the included screw in power adapter, I simply screwed in the power adapter into the light socket, inserted the springs and pushed the light up into the ceiling housing. Like I said that was the easy part.
The struggle came when I tried hooking the phone app to the internet and the Bluetooth set up to the light fixture. The app runs you through the setup step by step but nothing I tried worked. I stopped and came back to it later and tried and failed. I again came back to it later and tried and suddenly with out having done anything different, the internet hooked up to the app and the phone synced with the light. I seriously spent a total of an hour to reach this point. Is it my internet that caused issues, who knows. Anyways, the light has some neat features, different colors and dimmer controls. It works with Alexa but I never tried linking the light to Alexa. Honestly, I think this light would be great for just the right application, a kids room or a playroom. But for general lighting in my house, this light and it’s features are not necessary.

Fun technology that’s easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK, it’s a bit of overkill but hey it’s a fun technology and is DYI friendly. I retrofitted a shower light with this product. Installation was very easy even for a novice like me. Set up was a bit trickier and as a hint - do the set up BEFORE installation. I set up the light on my bench and did all the configuration beforehand. It was a lot more intuitive this way. Once configured I just had to remove the existing light fixture and wire in the new one. I use Google Assistant throughout the house and the device was easy to add in. Fun technology that’s easy to install. Recommended.

If you want the ability to change your lighting color and brightness easily, this is the kit for you. The fact that it is LED is even better, as it will last forever. You can't go wrong with this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a large quantity of flood cans in our recreation room that are incandescent and I wanted to explore LED replacements. These are very nice fixtures that are drop in replacements. I really like the compatibility with Smartthings and the ability to adjust the illumination color spectrum
