Nice nightlight

Recessed Light with Awesome Functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cooper Lighting Solutions Halo Recessed Downlight with Nightlight LED Trim is so cool and fairly easy to install. We needed a new light in our laundry room and were curious if it would be bright enough. Zero issues there! This light would be bright enough for an even bigger room. Our favorite feature is that you can switch the light setting from whichever of the five default settings you prefer and choose as your main downlight, daylight to warm (5000 to 2700k), to the nightlight mode that uses the acrylic trim by flipping the light switch quickly off and back on. Full light to nightlight in 2 seconds. No messing with settings on the light itself unless you want a different default downlight setting and no keeping track of a remote. The glow of the nightlight setting is candle-like and relaxing. Works with a dimmer too. This recessed light is lovely.

Nice light

Comforting Night Light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this light in our walkway to our garage. It’s a high traffic area and this bright light used to have there has been replaced with this one. My husband loves it because he can leave it on night light mode in the early morning hours when he leaves for work. I love it also at night when we are winding down for the day but still utilizing that walkway.

Love how this glows in my livingroom

The glow ring, nightlight ring or whatever its called gives off such a nice glow! Looks so good at night with just the ring light on. Very easy to change out (i already have existing recessedlighting).

Really nice to switch from a normal light to night light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very easy to install in an existing can light fixture. For the color options, you need to flip a switch on the product before you install it. To change the color, you'll have to remove the light fixture from the ceiling to access the switch. It's not hard, but not something you want to constantly change.
For the night light feature, you have to turn the light on-off-on very quickly, and it will switch between downlight and night light modes. We have it on a dimmer switch, and the night light is a lot nicer on the low setting than a normal light.
The only problem I've found is that it doesn't stay on the night light setting once you turn it back off. It defaults to the normal downlight mode when you turn it back on. It's just annoying, since we'd rather mostly keep it on night light mode.
However, having all the options has been great, whether we want a regular light or night light, or we want to change from a warm colored light to a cooler one.
