Really bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light fixture does have a lot of brightness. The room where I installed it does not have a dark spot, it is really bright. I went to the store and purchased 3 more so I could have all over the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I obtained this light to replace an old style can light in the bathroom. After removing the old light, I simply follow the instructions and wiring in the new light, and placed it firmly up in the ceiling. 30 minutes at the most to do the install. I really like the brightness, light quality, and look of this light fixture. it updates the bathroom and gives me a really nice bright and pleasant light spectrum. Highly recommend!

HALO - 4 inch LT Direct Mount with Baffle Trim

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Halo 4 inch Direct Mount light is pretty simple and straightforward to install. The clips hold the light securely and it fits nicely against the ceiling. The most difficulty I had was the box and wiring that came with the light. It's not easy to mount the box against the joist in a convenient spot where the wiring will reach. The box itself is only large enough to fit the wiring if you're only wiring the light to a switch. If there are any additional wires involved, the box will not close all the way. At least I wasn't able to get it to close. Overall, it's a good light and being able to select the warmth or coolness of the light is nice, but I wish the wiring was a little more convenient.

Long gone are the days of the old can lights that had to almost be professionally installed to have a good quality look. These eliminate the need to have a professional and instead your everyday do it yourselfer can get it done. I like these a whole lot!
