Easy and bright

Truth in advertising!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This canless down light is just as it advertises…installs without a can mount in shallow dry wall. I thought it was easy enough to mount and serves the purpose of allowing placement of a down light where there was t room to mount with a can! Good product!
I replaced my broken ceiling fan with this and it fit the existing hole fairly well! Added bonus! 👍🏻

Perfect night lite!

I was actually able to complete the installation on a work break. I love the ability to select the color temperature of the light. The nightlight feature is super convenient at nightime. I can make my way into the restroom without tripping over who knows what. I really do like the light so much I ran out and purchased another for my 2nd bath. I highly recommend!

Cool , warm lighting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received free of charge this halo Light via influenster. I’m so happy to be selected and have the opportunity to try this. My husband is a electrician so I didn’t have to pay for to have it installed. This is a very bright light Can light up a super dark area such a closet or hallway i choose to be installed by a window in my kitchen according to my husband experience he said that is was super easy to be installed. We love that this product is dimmable. What makes this light awesome is that it has a night light. And the super bright light in case that we choose for more illumination.

A pretty much perfect recessed light for a modern house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light surpised me. You don't expect yourself to get excited over a recessed light and its features, but this one is worth getting excited for!
I love warm light. Especially at night. I use color selectable RGB bulbs in most of my light fixtures around my house. "Alexa, set the living room to orange-red," is one of my most commonly uttered phrases. In my opinion, 3000K during the day is darn near perfect, and anything 2000K or under at night is icing on the cake.
This light is color selectable, all the way up to 5000K (if that's your thing). But there is a very special mode that I think 99% of people should have it set to, 'Dim to Warm'. Dim to warm automatically sets the light to a nice warm/neutral 3000K during the day, then slowly ramps it down to an eye-pleasing 1800K at night. It also has a night-light mode where the outer rim runs dimly at 2000K (see my first photo).
If I have one complaint, it's that I would have preferred the night light be 1800K (like the warmest setting of 'Dim to Warm'). But overall this light is EXACTLY what I want in a fixture. Set it, forget it, and let it do its thing and improve your life (and circadian rythym)!

Quality light, but in depth installation

I reduced it by one star because installation for it is a lot more challenging than I anticipated. The light itself is sturdy and feels like it's made of good quality materials.

A Nice Alternative!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Halo Canless Night Light is a good alternative for someone who wants to avoid the extra step of installing a can or mount in their ceiling. With that being said, installation is still required and a little bit of preparation or prior knowledge is required to make sure it is set up properly without a fuss. However, it is not complicated and I was able to install it properly in a location that previously had a light installed. It would have been a lot harder if I had to wire a new location in my ceiling, but that would be expected for any light fixture. I do recommend committing to getting a complete set, or installing the light in a location where no others are needed or present, because the Night Light ring definitely looks unlike the style you would otherwise expect in other overhead or ceiling lights. A closet or bathroom would be great choices, but I wouldn't put a series of them in a kitchen, living room, or dining room (personal preference, though). With that said, the light itself is great and each setting performs as intended and gives you options to choose from depending on your preference is (while the light itself is dimmable and you need the appropriate light switch for that, you are committed to the style once it's installed, so play around with those before fully installing it). I do recommend a switch to LED lights regardless, and this light definitely satisfies that without coming off too harsh. Three out of five stars for performing as well as intended with minor quality of life improvements and options for light color, but overbills itself for being the perfect replacement to canned lights and doesn't provide the variability of bluetooth light bulbs.
