[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing has great power and love the convenience of no cord. Came just in time to help my cousin cut some holes in his golf cart to be able to add front and tail lights. This tool was easy to hold and with no cord allowed for a more precise cut of the light template. Haven’t used it yet for harder material like piping but can’t imagine it having any issue with the power this thing produces.

Works great on all the small jobs we've used it on so far, like cleaning the contacts & terminals on battery connections; smoothing puppy teething marks on wooden chairs, removing old paint from metal, etc. Perfect, light-weight hand tool for all your hard to reach areas & projects that require finer detail. Battery charge lasts forever too & so far, I have no complaints.

Great starter kit with cordless convenience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a Dremel for various projects around the house, and this is an excellent starter kit! The included Dremel tool feels very heavy-duty, and I love that it's cordless with an included battery and charger. The variable speed adjustment dial is useful to select a good, constant speed for the project at hand. The included carrying/storage case is a nice touch, too, to keep all of the parts in one place.
It comes with a few basic accessories -- one disc for cutting, and a couple of sanding drums. Expect to purchase a few more accessories like a grinding stone to have a full kit, but it's a great starting point with a really robust tool. I highly recommend it.

The fact that it is cordless makes it easy to carry around with me when I have projects outside and don't have power available. The battery life is great it lasts a lot longer than I was expecting. The tips are of great quality and I am able to complete many different projects with the same tool! I highly recommend this 8240 series of the Dremel tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dremel tool is one handy tool to have around. I use it all the time for so many different things. Having it wireless makes it even better because now I can use it pretty much anywhere. The build quality is great and the battery lasts a long time before I have to charge it again. My favorite feature is the adjustable speed. It makes it much more useful for many jobs and having it all in one carrying case makes it ready to go whenever I need it. It comes with everything needed to start using it and there are so many attachments that can be used with this system. It is a tool that I love having around and will continue to use it all the time.

The variable speed options is helpful when using on different materials and projects. I would definitely buy this as a gift for someone. Is has been amazing to have since we got it.
