[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it a couple years ago & it does what I got it for & some other things I didn’t get it for. Happy with it except that the chuck has locked up & I can’t change the bit. Don’t want to risk lubing it bc it might not stay tight. Open to suggestions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great when it works

We have had this tool for a bit over a year. The bearing had gotten debris stuck in it. I was not able to fix this too myself, so in the trash it goes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the 8240-5 a month or two ago. Not worth it; at all. The second time I used it (sanding), the gray piece on the end shot off the tool, into my shop. It melted the inside of the gray piece and melted where they come together.
