Does what it claims to do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this tape to try in exchange for my review, and I have to say that I so happy I did! I have a vinyl fence that I wanted to add a little accent color to in places and gave this tape a chance to prove itself. I cleaned off the areas I was going to apply it to, and let the tape sit for about an hour before I painted. I had to wait a day to remove the tape, and it came off easily, not leaving any stickiness behind. It didn't allow any of the paint to seep through where it was applied, and left a crisp line. Totally impressed with it and the job it did.

Seems to stick great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this heavy duty tape. I'm getting rid of a refrigerator and taped the cord on it. We've had light rain and it still sticks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a painting project in mind when I received a free role to try from Scotch. I needed to paint a table that we use frequently, so downtime needed to be minimal. I know if I masked and painted before leaving for the weekend, the tape may leave residue. I used the Heavy Duty 2020+ early Friday morning and it came off nice and clean Sunday afternoon. It really made a difference! Thanks Scotch and I'll be a regular user from now on!

It Sure Is Heavy Duty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item as a free sample to test out at our home. As with nearly every 3M product, it performs exactly as described and as expected. We had some outdoor touchup for our home and used this tape. Not only did it stay attached in high humidity and high temperatures, it was easily removed with no damage or any tape left behind stuck to the wall.

Perfect solution!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. My first project with this masking tape has been very successful. I have a piece of office furniture that has veneer on it. Some of the veneer had come loose on a drawer causing the potential for snagging clothing. I had already tired some carpet tape which quickly got sticky and didn't holdup, but this 3M Heavy Duty Masking Tape seems to adhere very well with no signs of coming off and no stickiness. This is great! Obviously, this wouldn't work on your living room furniture, but in a private office this is the perfect solution. Next project: given the attractive orange color, my grandson has an art project in mind. ;-)

Heavy Duty masking tape does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free sample of Scotch brand Heavy Duty Masking Tape. This product is designed for use on vinyl, carpet, metal, and plastic and I have used it successfully to seal my plastic storage bins. The tape was easily removed after a 3-day sealing of these bins and left no sticky residue behind.

Gives you a great cutting edge for painting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thicker backing and durable adhesive of 3M's Orange Heavy Duty Masking Tape was very easy to apply, and then, to remove after the job was completed. Resulting in straight, crisp, professional looking lines - with no paint bleed though at all. It is a great product! Plus the orange color stands out for easy visibility and just looks cool.
