strong tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to the regular masking tape which is not sticky after one time use, this one is quite strong. I realized that I put this tape in the wrong position after a couple of days, so I detached and re-taped it. Unlike the other tape, this one still holds very well. Only concern is that it could have a bigger width. I received this tape for free to review.

Better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from 3m and I’m glad I did. With the lock down happening currently, I’ve been doing many diy projects to feel productive and pass the time. This tape does a great job of sticking down and stay put. It makes things easier to handle and less work of having to fix mistakes afterwards.

Fantastic product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic product.I got a sample of a scotch heavy duty masking tape.to try for free. I used it on my boat when I was trying to repair my carpet. It took me a couple days to repair it. We use it to hold it down and it worked very well. I highly recommend it

Good, but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a roll of this painter's tape to test from 3M. I used it as suggested to edge some molding in a carpeted room.
Like most painter's tape, it doesn't form a waterproof seal and the edge left upon removal is not razor sharp. In addition, you need to be careful upon removal that you score the edge between the tape and finished painted surface.
If you don't, the paint will pull up on the finished surface and you need to repaint, as the tape edge can't separate the paint on it and the area it was supposed to protect during painting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use a lot of tape crafting and this works great. I also use it fixing my granddaughters' broken doll furniture (which happens quite often!). This tape works great holding things in place while glue dries and does not strip painted surfaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this for the purpose of a home test. I found the tape to be very strong. I used it to paint but it did bleed We also used it for crafting and hanging posters. It would be great for teachers in the classroom
