Volume issue

I have a shake 55 that I am returning because of this issue. When I hit volume on 45 with in a matter of minutes it will go into protection mode and shut off and an error message will read (protect e01). Then I have to unplug it and re plug it in to turn it back on to resume play. I can not figure out why this does this but from what I'm seeing it has something to do with the speaker connection.
The sound is great but it can't hear it when it goes into protection mood.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Topdog1, thank you for your message. If PROTECT or PROTECTOR is flashing in the display of a home audio device such as an A/V receiver, or home theater system (hts), there may be an external speaker issue or connection issue that is triggering the protection circuit.
