Love the mini backpack!

Although the backpack is small, it is sturdy and can hold quite a bit. Love the color options. The straps were easy to adjust. While the Kanken backpacks are definitely trendy right now, they're also a classic staple that won't go out of style.

My Favorite Everyday Bag!

Bought the grey fog/striped over 2 years ago as a small trip bag and ended up using it everyday as my go to bag/purse and have taken it on many trips and adventures. The things I love most about this bag is that it holds a lot more for its size than it looks! I can fit my 40oz hydro flask, books, wallet/passport, keys, phone, makeup bag, sunglasses, lotion/sunscreens and even a small travel towel for the beach or a small sweater or cardigan.
The other thing I love most about it is that it is extremely durable I’m rough with it and toss it around and it’s still holding up. I have also walked/hiked in rain for long periods and have had no issues with the bag leaking inside! Last but not least is it is comfortable to wear even with a full pack it has never caused me any pain or body aches from long all day wear! The only thing I would mention is that after a few years the light grey color has dulled/stained and now looks dirty even when it’s washed. Not really an issue seeing that that’s only due to natural wear but next time I go to replace it I believe getting a darker color will help the bag stay looking nicer even longer. (Something to think about if you want a certain color but want the bag to stay nice looking over time)

Quality Bag

I rarely write reviews, but this deserves a exception. I have really appreciated this backpack. The mini is exactly what i needed for day to day and the spontaneous hiking trips! I can pack it to the hilt or just the bare essentials and its neither to bulky or to small. I was debating on whether to go with the slightly larger one but I’m completely satisfied with the mini. It was a worthy purchase, I sincerely hope other buyers can experience many happy adventures with this backpacking companion. :) ;)

Beware of abrasive straps

Abrasive straps will destroy your clothes. Not for use as a women's day bag or purse alternative. Should only be worn over coats.

LOVE the backpack HATE the straps.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for myself. I was SO excited as I know others that have this bag so I knew the quality. I absolutely LOVE the bag but HATE the straps. I’m 5’4” and wear an XL and feel like I’m wearing a 4 year olds backpack with how short the straps are and how high the bag sits on my back. I will be returning the bag unfortunately strictly due to the short straps. Bummer. Really love the sky blue color. Wish it just had a tad bit longer straps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tiny but Mighty

I bought the black mini. I opened the box and loved the surprise of the Swedish fish. I found that adjusting the straps was hard and I would’ve liked them to be longer. The water bottle compartments are also very small and I can’t fit anything in them. Otherwise I love the durability of this bag. Make sure to look at the measurements of the bag!

COLOR IS NOT TRUE TO PHOTO

I bought this backpack in Frost green- peach pink for my sister because the colors appeared much lighter in the photos, when I received the backpack I was disappointed because it was a bright neon pink and the green was much brighter than I had thought, everything else was fine.
