[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is amazing! We used to purchase several models for our organization based on job title. That gets taxing as end users switch positions, causing us to reimage and transition data. With this machine, we are able to purchase one device to fill all of the needs in our organization. While it comes beefed up with 16 gigs of RAM, you can expand to whatever you may need. Our developers and executive members all love these as they are prefect for our needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Computer has been great so far! I use it for school and I needed something as I went into work as well. It works great. I only took off 1 star because it's very loud. If you don't mind, then it's a great computer.
I purchased this laptop because I was drawn to the powerful specs and the promise of a solid workstation. However, in the two weeks I’ve owned it, I’ve already had to reboot twice due to strange “not responding” errors.
I was especially excited about the NVIDIA graphics card, expecting sharp, vivid visuals, but instead, I’ve encountered scrambled, glitchy images. Honestly, it reminded me of when I used to try to watch Showtime cable on Saturday night back in the '80s —if you know, you know.
While the hardware shows promise, these issues are hard to overlook, and I’m left feeling a bit underwhelmed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really loving new laptop and really looking forward to leverage the new Intel Core Ultra technology for local development on some AI projects/learnings.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for a ThinkPad P14s Gen 5. Mine has an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H. Discrete graphics hardware wasn't available with this CPU. That's OK with me -- I'm not a gamer.
My ThinkPad is connected to the recommended Lenovo ThinkPad Universal Thunderbolt 4 Dock. One small quibble: The P14s doesn't have a "Thin Tip" power connector, so it must use its Thunderbolt 4 connector for both power and data. This limits the power to about 92 Watts, significantly lower than the capacities of ThinkPad's and dock's power supplies. The dock has a separate power output that can't be used with the P14s, although It does work with the P16 ThinkPads. So far I haven't had a problem keeping the P14's battery charged, so it's probably no big deal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generally, I liked the ThinkPad P14s Gen 5. It was quick and easy to use. I really like the old-style TrackPoint button control! But, for my use, I need to have better battery life. In all of my testing, I was only able to get up to about 4 hours. I expect that was due to the discrete video.
I would recommend this to a friend!
