Hdmi digital AV adapter

After reviewing the Apple support forms, I found an article that said the lightning to digital AV adaptor or supposed to be able to play lossless audio, to my dismay it seems to be limited to 48 kHz sampling, I have opened a ticket with Apple and it appears it may not be changing until the next software update if at all. Sad to say they released an optionThat is not fully supported by any of the current adapters. Looking to return the unit due to dissatisfaction by Apple support, it appears the only way to get high resolution audio currently is with the latest version of Apple TV 4K with the latest software update. Anybody out there that has the latest version of Apple 4K TV please chime in and let me know if you see192 kb per second on your AV receiver or external DAC
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works for the most part

Great for putting video on the tv. Only problem is the audio doesn’t transfer over from iPhone to tv for ALL apps. It transfers over for netflix and Disney+ and not too many others. FaceTime stays same size unless you rotate sideways... some disadvantages but overall a good investment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This unit was supposed to play downloaded video, but it doesn't. The audio worked, but no picture. I returned it.

Lightning AV Adapter

I have a Chromecast and Apple TV and I can get them to connect with my iPad but for some reason, I cannot cast Optic TV through them to my TV. I bought the AV adapter to watch hockey games on my bedroom TV using the iPad and it works great.

I bought this so I could watch video from my iPad or iPhone on the TV. It is simple and it works. My only dislike is the price. It’s too expensive.
