[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this a few weeks ago and my kids have enjoyed playing with it! It’s smaller than I thought, BUT it’s eaier for them to carry around and include it in their imaginative play! I call that a win!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4.5 year old daughter was nervous about starting school, so I gave her “Chompy.” I should have recorded her as she opened him. She kept yelling, “his arms move? You gotta be kidding me! His legs move?! You gotta be kidding me! His mouth can open and close?! You gotta be kidding me! This is a good toy, Mommy!” And then she realized he could roar and stand unassisted. This is currently her favorite toy.
She was very excited to see that Chompy has a sticker that you can scan in his app. Buuuut, she’s still little and the app didn’t have any fun racing games. She decided that she isn’t currently into the app. But I liked the educational aspects of it.
If you have a kid that’s interested in dinosaurs, I would definitely recommend this toy. It does roar, but you could always take the batteries out if it’s too loud.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dino roars with the push of a button and looks pretty real! Dinosaurs can take on super heroes, soldiers, other dinosaurs! The possibilities are endless! The size is great for toddlers as it’s just big enough!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is obsessed with dinosaurs and he was super stoked to receive one in the mail! There is some initial set-up required so may need to give your child a cookie before attempting to open the box. The "roar" is quite loud and not the greatest wake up call... but love how his mouth opens. Quite honestly... it's a nice toy! Perfect for any kid who is equally obsessed with dinosaurs as my son.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5-year-old has a collection of about 20 dinosaurs, all different sizes, and this one has quickly become his favorite. He enjoys making this dinosaur roar (3-4 different sounds), chomp (good for attacking other dinosaurs), and move the arms and legs-- fun features for more realistic dino action than your average stationary dinosaur.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys, their cousin, and best friend went crazy over this dinosaur! They loved the roaring sound and moving jaw and chased each other around the house! Now they say we need more dinosaurs!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son enjoyed playing with this for awhile but eventually go bored. While he did play with it he was pretty rough and this held up fantastically. Can't say as I've seen a Metriacanthosaurus in real-life, but this looks pretty realistic to me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not as big as the other dinosaurs my son has, but a lot of fun! Has cool sounds that play when the button is pushed and the jaws move. The detail in the markings is very good and is going with my son to show and tell this week. Overall it seems like a high quality toy that will last for a long time. Great addition to any kids dinosaur collection
