[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The backpack seems reasonably sturdy and is sufficiently padded to protect the laptop. The volume of the backpack should be enough for the laptop, a charging cable, a beverage or two, and a long-sleeve shirt. I purchased this bag with the purpose of using it as a way to carry just what I need for the day while at a conference, but so it would be sturdy and comfortable. The drawbacks of this bag, however, are that the front pocket is quite inconvenient. It's tall enough that having a zipper just at the top is inconvenient to see inside or have to reach to the bottom. It would have been better to have two smaller pockets on the front, especially one with a little organizer compartment for a few pens as most backpacks have, but this one lacks.
