Better than other brands I have tried. You can do so much with it. It is very easy to use. Right out the box I was crafting in minutes. This machine has so many awesome features. The auto blade sensor technology is very convenient, it automatically detects thickness of the material you are cutting. The scan feature is the coolest. You can scan any of your own hand drawn work! The touchscreen display makes quick edits easy. The free design software is easy to use and includes tons of free designs/projects. You can connect to your computer or your phone or tablet or just use it by itself. It comes with the main accessories you will need and the machine has a handy storage compartment for storing them.
I am so amazed at all this machine can do.
The cuts are perfect and fast. The machine is pretty quiet when in use. I can create almost anything with it. I can cut fabric, paper, card stock, vinyl, leather, foam. The creative possibilities with this are endless and easy.

I watched a few videos on youtube before starting so I knew what I was to expect and getting into. It's really easy to use and brother is a really good brand, we have a brother scanner at work and it's the best thing. I made a sticker so far but I'm excited to learn how to make more things!

I’m always wanting custom made shirt for my kids and this machine has saved me so much time and money! I can make them myself and the machine was preset with plenty of cutouts. The products works wonderfully and I’ve had no issue yet. It’s easy to use and understand!

I was a little intimated at first, but the instructions are super easy to read and follow. The machine itself is easy to setup and the possibilities of designs are endless!

So many patterns!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got this I thought I would never figure this thing out, but oh my goodness it practically does everything itself! You can use it with internet or without. You can use ut on your favorite hobby, or I could see someone with a craft type business really using this a lot! For quilting, my next hobby, it will be perfect! It has patterns on it specifically for quilting. Other patterns? Oh yes, over 600 patterns plus you can even draw it up, and use your own! It reads the thickness it needs to cut, no measuring involved on your end. It cuts everything I tried easily. Leather, paper, foam, felt. It has a little drawer to keep all your tools in so they are handy. It is a dream come true. I love it!

I’ll admit that in the beginning, the software and usage, was a little overwhelming. But i was able to get the hang of it and started making stuff in no time. Mostly, I use it to make vinyl stickers for my car or for home items around the house. I love the scanning feature so much! It makes accessing designs, so much easier. I absolutely recommend this machine, if you want quality craft cuts.

This is an excellent Brother product. My grandmother and I do lots of embroidery and scan and cut projects. She is in her 80s and found this machine to be very user friendly. Her favorite feature is that it's quieter than other machines. It's very versatile and allows you to be creative with products and projects. We cut on fabric and vinyl and the blade does great. This machine can help you with lots of fun projects like cards, making vinyl decals for water bottles, shirts and it's especially good for quilting. This machine is so easy to learn for all ages from young to old!

I decided to request this product because I'm not super crafty, but I desire to be so! My baby just got a helmet to help with the flat spots on his head and I was able to easily create and print stickers to decorate his helmet. I look forward to trying out lots of different media using the Scan N Cut.
