while the monitor performs as expected mine got bright spots ( pixels stay on when they should black) with in 40 days of getting it. its been at least 4 months and ASUS support haven't replaced it or replied to my support requests with a good solution (they offered to replace it with a monitor that is half the price) LGs GP850 is the way to go while it's not 240hz it's a perfect gaming monitor.

Terrible backlight bleed. Can literally see each zone light up when moving my mouse around on a black screen. QC should be so much better for a product at this price point. Disappointing cause I love my PG279Q.

This monitor is nearly perfect. The only knock against it is the small amount of local dimming zones for HDR.
