[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been absolutely HOOKED on this machine since it arrived. The Brother Skitch PP1 Single-Needle Embroidery Machine is a high quality machine, easy enough for someone with pretty basic sewing machine knowledge. The set-up was easy, with multiple versions of instructions available - in print with the machine, a quick-guide that came with the machine, and lots of QR codes linked to videos. It’s super important to have fabric stabilizer, and fabrics that holdup well to embroidery. The Artspira app free version is ok - but there aren’t many options for good images or fonts in the free version. I purchased the app service to access many more fonts/images and have enjoyed it. The machine tangles quite a bit, so I’m hoping with more practice that it will run for longer embroidery runs without jamming…right now I have to sit next to the machine and rethread the top quite frequently. Embroidery on loose-weave tea towels was a nightmare 😅 I am going to have to order much more dense towels. Overall, I LOVE this machine and I want to order many more sizes of the hoops (they are SPENDY!). Treat yourself to a large rainbow of embroidery thread so you can embroider any design you want. I would suggest to order a bunch of back-up replacement needles to have on-hand too. This would make an EXCELLENT gift for a craft-lover, and you can also make incredible gifts WITH this machine. I highly recommend this machine!
I like the machine, I wish the hoop was 5x7 & wish the artspira app was available on the PC. Other than that I like that this is a free arm embroidery machine, love the magnetic hoop. I hope all future embroidery only machines will be made with the free arm feature & include magnetic hoops.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is really great to use. It allows you to create designs using an app. Only downfall was that if you wanted to do more designs you did have to pay for a subscription on the app but otherwise this does things from soft hats to shirts and more.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in love with my new embroidery machine it's so easy to understand and use and comes with 100 + patterns or I can use my own. I'm only 41 but I already have carpal tunnel and this is going to save me so much pain and help me get so much embroidery done
So far after figuring out a few important steps this N.A. hone is working out fine. Would like to see where if a design uses a color multiple time you could combine so you don't have to rethread
When everything clicks, it does a solid job—creates beautiful stitching and is quite user-friendly. Lately, though, I've run into a hiccup. My app is acting up, refusing to let me save and resume my project. I've troubleshooted, from resetting the WiFi to reloading the app, but even with a subscription, the option to save seems elusive. It's a bit of a bummer, especially since it's the key to using the embroidery machine. =(

Idk what I doing wrong, the bobbin holder keeps coming loose which causes me to break the needle, have had machine for a week and already broke like 5 needles.
