[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this as a spare for our Mechanical Design Engineers, which is what I typically do. But I'm starting to accumulate a decent amount of spare 230W/300W adapters since these genuine Lenovo ones don't seem to stop working.

It powers the laptop with no issues as is significantly smaller than the original charger. It is still a little heavy but not unreasonably so for the power it can supply. In my opinion, it is well worth the money to get a genuine lenovo product instead of a cheap aftermarket, especially when dealing with these high performance laptops.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lenovo branded 230W power supply/adapter are absolutely solid units. I bought this one as a spare in case one fails connected to +- 5 Thinkpads in use.
I also like the "slim tip" rectangular shape as it seems to prevent getting loos in the Think Pad Receptacle like some Round tip ones do.
I would recommend this to a friend!
