I only had this seger for three months before I had to send it back.

Great Machine

What a surprise to see how easy it was to thread and use this machine. I have arthritis in my hands and also a trigger finger on my right hand but am able to sew with no problems. I had purchased another brand but was having trouble threading so I returned that model and decided to give this one a try after reading all the reviews. Even though I have been sewing a long time and previously owned an industrial type of serger this one meets all my expectations, give it a try it is a great investment and the pricing cannot be matched.

Great serger for the money

Purchased this serger earlier this year and have been very happy with it. Easy to thread and use. Had a problem with it, contacted Brother for where to get repaired locally. Took it in for repair, done in timely manner, and no charge because it was still under warranty. Have recommended the purchase of this serger to friends and will again.

Good for the money

Not a true 4 thread as it does not make a chain stitch with an overedge seam finish. It is more of a 3-thread as it makes a nice narrow seam as used for knits. Since I bought it for seam finishing, not seams , it works for me. Definately noisy, but has easy adjustments This is my third overlock. I use my Singer 5-thread for most sewing. I previously owned a small 4 thread that made a real seam. Good for the money.

I received this machine as a gift and I couldn't be more satisfied. It is the first Serger I have ever had but wanted for many years. The DVD included in the instructions is fantastic and very easy to follow. I loved how I could pause it when I needed. I was surprised at how easy it was to thread. I was able to use it in a very short time which was exciting. Everything I've done so far looks so professional. What can I say...I really DO love this machine!

Love, love, love this machine

I love this serger! It does everything I need it to do. Threading this machine is so easy. I have had it for 5 or 6 months now, I use it almost every day, and have not had a single problem. I liked it so well that I bought my daughter-in-law (new to serging) one for Christmas. One quick lesson from me and she was off and sewing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

as a beginner this serger is a great start. after learning how to thread, and you will, it is as easy as a sewing machine. im still learning how to use it as I just straight stitch but as will be trying knits. brothers as videos that help with start up. many instruction videos out there and this is the most popular serger I see on the web. reasonable price and can graduate to other sergers if you feel the need, but this should be enough.
