The freezer works very well, but the temperature controls for the refrigerator only has three settings. The middle setting is best, but the vegetables in the crisper drawer freeze. The higher temperature setting is to high (over 40 degrees). Also, the French doors are not aligned so the tops of the doors hit each other when closing. The ice maker works great. The interior of the refrigerator and freezer are nicely laid out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Refrigerator is always hot on the outside. Refrigerator temperature not equal throughout. Fruits & vegetables freeze in lowest level. Refrigerator noisy. Not happy at all.

Excellent frig and loving the two-drawer freezer-very handy. You should put something in the owner's manual about the temp control for the crisper drawers-didn't notice it until I froze a head of lettuce!

My husband and I needed to replace our old side-by-side fridge that was 22 years old and getting loud. We wanted something smaller for just the two of us that would fit in the allotted space and this was perfect. Plenty of room between the nice wide shelves inside the fridge and gallon-sized shelves on the door. Two separate freezer drawers inside the one large pullout drawer is all the room that we need. Hidden handles along the top of the freezer and the top and bottom of the fridge make opening easy and more ergonomic. Very happy with this new fridge!

I traded my brand new element because it had a problem with the freezer. 2 days .after we spoke to the dealer, they were going to send us a new one. Only because element does not have parts. I now have a Frigidaire and it works fine and if there is a problem, they have parts
