The glass shelves are fine for a refrigerator, but items are sticking to the shelves in freezer mode. The door cannot be changed to open from the right side when facing the freezer.

I haven't had this freezer long enough to give it a full review, especially regarding longevity. I received this freezer as a part of my utility's energy efficiency program, so I did not choose this... this said, so far it is functioning just fine. There is plenty of room inside, except the bottom shelf is not as deep as the top shelf, so I needed to get shorter storage bins for that shelf. (I store my items in storage bins for easier accessibility.) This replaced my 50 year old freezer, which was still an excellent workhorse! I just hope that when we get power outages, and we do, that this will remain cold during the duration, as well as my non-frost free old freezer did!
