Expensive item. No manual!

I hear so many wonderful things about Instapot. But I am so unimpressed. I bought the Instapot Duo Crisp. Pricy item not to get a quick start guide , manual or cookbook. I’m having to look up every item to cook on the internet. Huge bother and I’m so unimpressed with how my food is turning out.
I also have a rust spot from testing the pressure cooker with water , right out of the box. But of course, you can’t get through to InstaBrands unless you have hours to wait on the phone.
Don’t waste your money.

It's BIG, bulky. Instant Pot quality!

Good: Lots of instant pot cooker recipes, great community. Easy to use. Instant Pot pressure cooker is awesome, but I already have an older model of that.
Bad: Instant pot app doesn't support this model, so no recipes or help for airfryer. Also, no recipes come in package, nor have I been able to find online.
- This is a big, bulky machine. The air fryer lid contains the heating/fan elements so a bit heavy.
- Need to swap/store two lids, one for pressure, one for air fryer
- power cord is not removable! Makes it hard to store.

Tried so far:
Pressure cooking lima beans (8 min), potatoes (3 min) - amazing consistency and speed while keeping taste.
Sous vide cooking of marinated chicken breasts, followed by searing - top restaurant quality
Air frying of onion rings, french fries - same as with pressure cooking, quick, evenly fried and tasty.
The post in which Ninja Foodie was favoured over Duo Crisp: I invite readers to consider how subjective user friendliness is, as well as claiming that Foodie gives better results, without any details on comparison methodology.
Please look at YouTube video comparisons and judge for yourselves.

The instant pot duo crisp has exceeded my expectations. It’s so easy to use and the food turns out so delicious. I love the recipes that I’ve cooked so far using the regular instant pot & switching to the air fryer. Great product overall... 5 stars

Just received my pot a few days ago so I haven't got around using it. But everything looks really good in the box. I am excited to try some recipes in the pot over the holiday.

This Instant Pot and Air Fryer is amazing!!! Along with the app, it's like we belong to a whole new community. This baby is the Cadillac of all Air Fryer and can do Everything! I literally have not used my stove since Christmas... You're missing out!

The lid did not sit properly. Had to return as I kept beeping to LID... I was terribly disappointed.

Wow.... what a great unit. I have made 6 meals in it already. (Chilli, Butter Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Chicken vegetable Soup, Stew. Easy to use, does a great job. The preset options are pretty decent and seem to have you covered. The instructions are not great and could be better - but the online recipes that you can find that pertain to this exact cooker fill in all the blanks.
I would recommend this to a friend!
