Robust Mass Storage for Multispectral Imagery & 4K

I integrated the WD Red Plus 12TB into my ROG Strix Z690-E workstation to serve as the primary vault for our agricultural data and media production. When you’re developing software and processing multispectral maps from a DJI Mavic 3, you generate an immense amount of "heavy" data that needs a reliable, long-term home.
Why it works for my workstation:
Perfect Workload Balance: While my SN850X NVMe handles the OS and active project files, the Red Plus is the ideal "Workhorse" tier. It handles massive transfers of raw imagery and 4K video files for our YouTube channel without the thermal throttling you see in lesser drives.
CMR Reliability: Using a CMR drive in a professional PC build is a must. Whether I'm archiving field data or pulling assets for a video edit, the consistency of the read/write speeds is exactly what I need for a productive workflow.
Compatibility: It synced perfectly with the Strix BIOS and storage management tools. Even under heavy indexing of thousands of high-res drone photos, the drive remains quiet and stable within the chassis.

For anyone building a high-end PC for specialized tasks like precision agriculture or content creation, the WD Red Plus provides the capacity and peace of mind required. It’s a critical component of my King Ag Systems infrastructure.
