I have this and it goes perfectly with my Staub 12" grill pan. It helps keep meat or sandwiches pressed firmly against the grill for those perfect grill marks and it seals in the heat from above as well as from the pan. Use on your outdoor grill too!

Love using this piece for my salmon burgers, fish, grilled sandwiches and more! Weighs heavily on the food and leaves a nice imprint, as if done on the grill.

Good additional piece for the Grill pan. Use it for panini and grilled cheese sandwiches. Also have used on my outdoor grill . Nice and heavy, but a perfect fit for the 12" Grill Pan.

This actually is a very versitile piece of equipment. Heavy enough to weigh down a chicken, steaks or chops but also works on paninis and grilled sandwiches. I put this in the oven while I'm heating the pan on the stove top so it gets nice and hot throughout.

I've had this grill press ling for quite sometimes. It is perfect for panini sandwiches and grilling steak & bacon. This is a perfect combo to holds up heat in between cast iron grill pan and this cast iron press lid. It's just all about greatness, it brings happiness for a great food.

Must have with your 12" grill pan. Better than stacking cans on top of a plate on top of your sandwich or pannini!!

The weight of this grill press makes it perfect for even cooking of meat, as when doing chicken under a brick. However, I tend to use it more for pressed sandwiches; one of my favorite being brioche filled with Nutella and sliced strawberries or bananas.

I have the 12" grill pan and this fits it perfectly. I love making paninis and grilled sandwich concoctions with this press. I have not tried it, but I could use this for bacon as well. It is a good weight to keep whatever is under it, pressed frimly to the grill. Cubanos are my favorite and this is perfect for those.
