Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Review: Disappointing Durability
on December 20, 2024

I recently purchased the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, expecting premium performance and durability for the price. While they deliver on sound quality and comfort, I’m extremely disappointed with their inability to handle wet conditions, despite claims of water resistance.
During a heavy training session, my Buds 3 Pro were exposed to some sweat and a bit of rain. Unfortunately, they started malfunctioning shortly after. One earbud became unresponsive, and the case’s charging capabilities were also affected. I followed all care instructions and ensured they were not submerged in water, yet they still didn’t hold up.
For a product advertised with water resistance, this performance falls well below expectations. It's frustrating to invest in premium earbuds that can’t withstand typical use in environments they’re marketed for. Unless you plan to use these strictly indoors or in dry conditions, I would recommend looking for more robust alternatives.
Pros:
Excellent sound quality Comfortable fit Great ANC (active noise cancellation)
Cons:
Poor durability in wet conditions Questionable water resistance Expensive for their lack of reliability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Galaxy Buds3 Pro. We are glad to hear you appreciate the sound quality. However, we noticed that you are encountering challenges with the design and usability, particularly regarding the touch controls, fit, and placing the earbuds back into the charging case. If the touch controls are unresponsive or difficult to use, try placing the earbuds in their charging case, closing it, waiting for at least 7 seconds, and then taking them out again. This can help reset the touch sensors. Ensuring that the earbuds fit properly can enhance comfort and prevent them from falling out. Make sure the touch sensors are in contact with your ears; if you don’t hear a detection sound, try reinserting the earbuds. Additionally, adjusting the ear tips to a size that fits snugly can enhance both comfort and stability. If you find it challenging to place the earbuds back into the charging case, check for any obstructions and ensure that the charging contacts are clean. Proper alignment is crucial for effective charging and ease of use. For more detailed troubleshooting steps, please visit our official support page. Not a fan of them, they don't sit right in my ears the tips provided are not good at any size to get the proper fit. The blade is interesting. I have to wear the blade facing up so they fit my ears. Not very easy to use.

Thank you for your feedback on the Galaxy Buds3 Pro, Jason! We understand that achieving the perfect fit is essential for the best listening experience. To ensure an optimal fit, these earbuds come with different sized ear tips. First, make sure you have the right size tips for your ears; they should fit snugly without any gaps to prevent sound leaks and ensure excellent audio quality. If you need guidance on changing the tips, please refer to our Buds3 Pro tips guide. Once you have the appropriate tips in place, check the bottom of the earbuds for directional marks labeled L and R. Insert the R bud into your right ear with the R facing you, and the L bud into your left ear with the L also facing you. Angle the bud slightly so that the microphone points towards your mouth rather than straight down, and adjust the buds by rotating them until they feel comfortable. Additionally, you can run an earbud fit test in the Galaxy Wearable app to confirm that you have the proper fit. We appreciate your insights and hope you have a better experience with your Galaxy Buds in the future! Amazing Design, it fits smugly in my ears. Love the audio quality though i would say they need to improve the adaptive noise cancelation setting and voice pickup as it randomly reduces the audio when I'm cycling because it assumes im talking.
