The active noise canceling works great with one HUGE exception: Wind. Went for a run on a non-windy day, just the wind one crates while running and it sounded as if i was in a hurricane. I could barely hear my music. I do not recommend these if you will be using them for biking/running.

They are too big and hurt after 30 minutes. The noise cancelling is not great at all compared to buds 2. I will let noise i don't want into the buds and amplifiy it,

Upgraded from Buds 2 Pro and I love the new design and gesture controls. I can adjust them in my ears without messing with the controls. I also really enjoy the sound quality of course for this level of earphone but the ANC is where the 3 Pros really excel. Almost all noise is properly canceled out and they are very close if not on-par with leading over-ear headphones noise cancelation. Overall though, a great upgrade over previous Galaxy Buds that will last a long time.
