pretty sick haha but they didn't let me get the free clip case promo and also mine were missing the different-sized ear tips which is kindof a pain because i feel like the Large ones fit me best. so yeah the buds are p cool tho

Far better than the Buds2 Pro

1. The fit and comfort of the Buds3 is much better than the Buds2. Moving the bulk of the charging, touch control, and microphone hardware to the stem improves the fit dramatically. You can also easily lay down on your side while wearing the Buds3 where-as the older version's buds protruded too far and put pressure on the skull.
2. Moving the touch control to the stems and introducing two-finger controls makes accidental inputs far less likely. On the Buds2, you could easily brush against the single touch pad on the bud and start/stop media but on the Buds3 you have to put both your index finger and the thumb on the stem and press with your thumb.
2a. I've seen some criticism about the touch controls being hard to use but it just comes down to muscle memory. Press or swipe with thumb while bracing with the index finger on the direct opposite side of the stem. The only way you can have it fall out while using the controls is if the fit is bad or you're putting the index finger on the wrong surface. You can put both fingers on the triangle portion and it will register but... why?
3. The audio quality is a different level than the Buds2 Pro, personally. Maybe with the large bulk of the earbuds, the Buds2 Pro didn't fit all that well but the Samsung app said the fit was fine, but if you thought the Buds2 Pro was too tinny these Buds3 Pro should fix that. The bass extension is very satisfactory with full mid-range out of the box.
3a. The earbuds come with a 9-band equalizer with 20 steps per band to tune to how you see fit.
4. The ANC quality is also massively improved over the Buds2 Pro. The Buds2 Pro would barely reduce mid range sounds like AC fans but on the Buds3 Pro they are inaudible. Overall the Buds3 Pro ANC is on par with high-end full-size headphone ANC if not better.
5. Gaming mode appears to work well to reduce latency. If Samsung introduces a SSC codec dongle for the PC, I would use it for gaming. Come on Sammy, do it.
6. I'm getting about ~6 hours per charge on the buds which is about as advertised.
7. Don't use the official case protector, it's a trap!

I work in a noisy environment and I think the noise cancelation was better on the last pair. These seem to struggle at times like they don't know what to do. The fit is much better with this design. The light is cool.
