So far, I can't find any reasons to say that it's better than my old Buds 2 pro, I'm just seeing how the controls work, it's not easy, or at least not as easy to use as the previous versions of the buds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am using my buds very often and for different needs like studying, phone calls, entertainment, and just for daily music dose. Been a big fan of the previous model I have exchanged.The new Buds3 do have a good sound quality, the app and settings giving so much advantage to adjust buds to my preferences, there is absolutely no complains about futures. The new design is interesting and stylish but not quite comfortable. To my experience, the triangle-shaped handles are not quite comfortable to be used for sound manipulation because when tryinng to press on it to pause, it pushes the whole headphone off the ear. I'd love to have it more rounded and a little bit shorter since evry time you rutn your head the ends touching cheeks and again, presing on the end of the buds makes it to slip out of the ear. Another concern I noticd that the sensitivity of the buttons are little low, have to press a little harder to slide to the new song. As well, its kind of more time-taking to putting them back tot he case. But overall, it is a great new model with a great quality and modern desing. Very easy to connect and to use daily, the new case is very stylish and make people ask about. I've been a samsung techology user for the past fifteen years and will keep my preferences.

Full disclosure, I also own 2 pairs of Galaxy Buds2 Pro earbuds.
I think the sound quality has improved, and the voice quality when using the earbuds for calls. They stay in my ear just a touch better than the Buds2 as well. The charging case is a better design; now you can see if the case is empty or loaded. The only con I can think of is that they look a bit dumb in your ears and they are less stealthy.
