Fit and Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the Galaxy Buds3 Pro and the fit for me is just better with the Buds2 Pro. I work in a loud environment and the fit is important for the noise cancelation feature to work properly. I think because the fit is better with the Buds2 Pro(for me) the sound is also better also. I will be staying with my Buds2 pro for now.

Amazing earbuds!

After getting my Galaxy Buds 3 Pro today, I have to say that these are some of the best earbuds I've ever had. The audio is great, the new touch features are responsive, and the integrated AI features work very well, being able to recognize voices and sirens to active ambient sound. Previously, I had the Galaxy Buds 2 and although they were good, these are on another level and I would recommend them to anyone looking for new earbuds!

Big disappointment - old buds were much better

I've had the old Galaxy Buds2 for a couple of years and the battery was starting to wear out...so I decided to see what the latest can do. I've been very disappointed....
* Sound quality - very similar to the old buds.; but I do get slightly richer sounds from the new Buds3 pro.
* Microphone - the old buds were much better - get a little wind on these new ones and forget it.
* Sound quality in wind - the new buds seems to have MUCH more wind noise than the old buds. I suspect the bars hanging down act as wind noise makers.
* Battery life - the buds3 are better than the old buds.
* Noise reduction - the new buds3 are really bad. I did several tests with the new buds and the old buds...and the old buds were far superior. I used them with a blender - I didn't even hear the blender on the old buds and the music was great; but the new buds I couldn't hear the music.
* Weight - the old buds weighed in at 11grams on my scale...these new buds are are 12grams.
* Fit - the old buds felt *slightly* better than the new ones.

Best In Class

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Buds 3 Pros are AMAZING! I use mine paired with my Galaxy S24 Ultra for home use, and Galaxy ZFold 6 for work. Everything from the sound to the call quality is top tier. The redesigned case charges the Buds quickly so the down time is minimal.
I use the Galaxy AI live translation feature for work, and it has been a game changer for me. The seamless translation of different languages right into my ear makes conversation with ESL clients feel more natural and inviting.
I also go for walks at night, so when I do, I turn on the LEDs on the Buds for an added layer of visibility. Samsung truly thought of everything when they designed this product, and I can not wait for my Galaxy Watch Ultra to come in the mail!

Better than expected

Pros and cons compared to other buds I've had, including the Buds 2 Pro:
Pros:
- Sound is really good for a large variety of music and podcasts. UHQ codec does make a difference for services that can use it, but the non high-res stuff is good enough for me.
- Transparency mode is really good. Speech detection is also helpful. ANC is also great in my opinion, but I don't think I've ever had what people consider the best of the best in this regard, so take that for what it's worth.
- Wasn't sure if I would like the stem controls, but they work better than the touch controls on older models. Very rarely do I make misinputs when fiddling with the earbuds.
- They don't fall out of my ears easily when I talk or chew food. Fit is probably different for everyone, but every other set of earbuds I've tried have had this problem.

Overall, I'm very impressed with the upgrades. They aren't the most comfortable buds I've had, but they come close when I get the position in my ears just right (definitely better than the Buds 2 Pro). No QC issues that some people have noted on the interwebs. Battery comes close enough to what Samsung advertises, idk I don't keep track. They just last as long as I need in one sitting. Blade lights are pretty cool too, I guess.
I would recommend this to a friend!
