The internet perception of these earbuds is quite bad, and it does influence how I feel about them.
Personally, I think I received a mostly good pair - the fit and finish is good, the sound quality is good, etc.
However, it appears to be extremely challenging to remove the rubber tips, and I really have no idea why it's so hard. Mine will probably rip when I do fully remove them, so that's going to be a bummer. For now, I think the default size fits me fine, so I'm not going to remove them for a while.
Also, I noticed the ANC sort of pops in and out in the left earbud. I can't tell if that's just because my left ear canal is a slightly different size than my right ear canal and the left earbud doesn't stay as snug as the right earbud, or if it's a defect with the product, but it is indeed happening.
Lastly, the touch controls were challenging to get used to, and I'm not sure it will get any easier. The "pinch" method seems very difficult to do accurately and reliably.
Overall, I am disappointed due to the media reception, the difficult-to-remove rubber tips, the suspected quality issues with the sound controls, and the pinch controls being hard to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality Traded for Aesthetics?

I'll start by saying that I was ready to rip these Buds a new one in this review, but after adjusting some of the settings in the Wearable app, I changed my mind.
Design: Samsung's design choice with the new Buds3 Pro can be hit or miss for some. Starting with the charging case, I am not too fond of the material used; the Silver paint coating just feels a bit cheap in my opinion, but I did like their use of the clear top cover which is said to be made out of recycled plastic. I feel like they could have incorporated aluminum on the case and on the buds themselves to give a more high quality look and feel. The Blade light is cool though.
Functionality: The way the Buds sit in the ear is great and comfortable; there are 0 adjustments I've had to make during my workouts. I do have a issue with the "Blades" (stem), for example, when trying to wipe my face the stem will get caught on my shirt or towel resting on my shoulder. The new pinch function is finicky as well; there have been several instances where I am trying to focus on my workout and change a song via the pinch, but end up pulling out the earbud completely. The stems also make it a little difficult to put back inside the case; that triangle shape is unforgiving and if you put it in the wrong way you'll have to take it out and readjust.
Sound Quality: This is where I was going to call the Buds a step backward, but after making adjustments to the Equalizer (Dynamic is the best mode in my opinion, with minor adjustments) I changed my mind. The buds sound fantastic, super clear and crisp, strong bass. Overall, with the right technical adjustments, the Buds provide a cohesive listening experience. The 360 sound mode fell flat for me, if anyone remembers the old mp3 players that had the "Hall" sound option, this is basically what it is.
Active Noise Cancellation: The active noise cancellation is a little disappointing; it was way better on the previous Buds2 Pro. But overall it will suffice, and I must say, the ambient sound mode on these is great; the weightlessness of the Buds combined with the ambient sound make it feel so natural, where as the Buds2 Pro made it obvious that sound was being pumped in.
Battery Life: Using these for roughly an hour a day for 3 days and the charging case is at 63%, seems a little low in my opinion, and this was with the Blade lights turned off (I couldn't figure out how to turn them on), but now I suspect battery life will be lower with them turned on. One thing I liked about the Buds2 Pro is that they could last well over a week, even when the charging case was dead.
Overall, the Buds3 Pro provide a decent upgrade coming from the Buds2 Pro, are they groundbreaking? Definitely not, but they do provide good looks and great sound.

Great Sound and Comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I much prefer the new form - my buds pro's were always falling out. Very comfortable and very impressed with the sound. Galaxy AI features are pretty nifty. Overall I'm enjoying them a lot.
I've been using the Samsung Buds Pro 3 for a while now, and overall, I'm very impressed with their performance and features.
**Design and Comfort** One of my favorite aspects of these earbuds is the stems. Not only do they give the buds a sleek and modern look, but they also house the volume controls, making adjustments quick and intuitive. It took my ears a few days to get used to the fit, and I did experience some discomfort initially. However, after that adjustment period, they've become very comfortable and now fit perfectly.
**Fit and Stability** The Buds Pro 3 stick significantly better than previous Samsung earbuds I've used. They stay secure during my daily activities, which is a big plus.
**Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)** The ANC on these earbuds is outstanding. It effectively blocks out even the loudest fans at work, creating a peaceful listening environment. This feature alone makes them worth considering, especially if you need to concentrate in noisy surroundings.
**Sound Quality and Controls** The sound quality is excellent, with clear highs, rich mids, and deep bass. The stems with volume control are particularly handy, allowing for easy adjustments without needing to reach for my phone.
**Missing Feature: Multi-Connect** One feature I really miss is multi-connect. Being able to switch seamlessly between my phone and laptop was very convenient, and it's a shame that it's not available in this model.
Really like the new design and the new features the stems make controls so much easier to use like the volume up and down . Also like the lights they r pretty cool ohh and they sound amazing that's probably best of all and everything else is very nice wasn't to sure would like the way new case is but I do like it so far haven't found anything I don't like and I've had every pair of the pro buds and some of the regular buds all way back to the icon x buds
The ambient sound of these buds is amazing. Huge upgrade from the Bud2 Pro. Had them for over a week and it has been a great upgrade from the Bud2 Pro.
I was not sure what to expect with these new buds. I have tried so many dofferent kinds in the market. Galaxy Buds Pro and the Pro 2. Most of the high end Sound Core buds and even cheaper brands. So far the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro beats them all. First, the sound quality with music is great and now that it comes with an equalizer and multiple different sound choice standard in the app this not only competes with sound core but surpasses it. And when it comes to phone call quality with either one or both ear buds being used the sound can't be beat by many. I have has NO issues while on the phone with others. Not even sure they can tell after it switches from the car to the buds with no drop in call quality. I definitely would recommend the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. BUY THEM!
