Decent upgrade to the Buds 2

Fitment is excellent. The sound quality and ambient sound translation is much better than the Buds 2 that I had before. The language translation function is kind of cool but seems like you may need to have your phone with it, though I may have to test that out. It does seem to have a bit of a squelch issue (squealing when you put them in) that I believe is likely causes by the proximity of the ambient mic and the speakers compared to the volume and sensitivity of the mic. I can also say that I am not a huge fan of the case as there is not much room to insert and remove the headphones between the case and the lid. I hope they hold up to workouts and working outside like the Buds 2 did but time will tell.

Great when they actually charge

I've had multiple Galaxy Buds models. These ones are pretty good, the sound quality and noise cancelation both work great. My biggest issue has been the charging method. It's very frustrating the amount of times I've put them in to charge just to pull them out later to learn that one is still on 15% or so bc it never connected properly. Even trying to place it in there correctly and making sure the charging light turns on is a bit more of a pain than I'd like.
If it wasn't for the charging issues I've had, this would be an easy 5 star rating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
