A reliable everyday bag with iconic style

I bought the classic Kånken in navy, and I’m really pleased with it. It doesn’t have a dedicated laptop compartment, so I slip my laptop into a protective sleeve first, and it fits nicely inside the main section. It’s sturdy, well-made, and the colour is exactly as pictured. I clean it from time to time with a wet rag, and lukewarm water.
I’ve used it as one of my daily bags for more than two years, and even taken it travelling — it handles everything I throw in there (13" M2 MacBook in its sleeve, tablet, notebooks, bits and bobs) with no trouble. I’m aware it’s not recommended to carry a laptop due to the added weight, but it’s worked perfectly fine for me so far. The front pocket and side pockets are great for easy access to smaller items. Overall, it’s a dependable and stylish backpack that lives up to the Kånken name.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dear Fjallraven Kanken backpack buyers,
It around was six years ago when I bought this very bag. Since then, it has been one of my best companions. This bag and I conquered snow, rain, ice, sun and hail. This bag and I conquered everyday of Highschool together. This bag and I conquered camping trips and Highschool football games. This is the best bag of all time! Any Highschool girl should feel honored to wear this bag.
This bag is more than a companion. It is a amazing tool! The bag has two major pockets that can be filled with anything. I have kept many things in this bag over the years. The bag also has a computer slot, which, is perfect for any school girls laptop. The bag also has a small slot for a water bottle.
I personally believe this is the best backpack for any highschool girl. It has personally changed my life for the better and I know it will change yours too. BUYYYY ITTTT!!!!!!

A cute and balanced backpack but…

This backpack is wonderful! I got it in the peach pink color and was pleasantly surprised when I received it only 8 days later. I would be perfect but the water bottle sleeves are very small, almost to the point where I can barely even fit my phone (an iPhone 11). The front pocket is a little small too, but it’s a good bag for a high schooler (I’m going into 10th grade) since we don’t have to carry much. Besides that the backpack is pretty great!

I love this bag. It fits everything under the sun in it, surprisingly. This bag doesn't hurt my shoulder at ALL. I'm in high school, I do a lot of walking around, and I've got a bunch of stuff to carry. I 100% recommend.

Worth every penny

My parents gifted me this backpack for Christmas when I was about sixteen. I am now nineteen and the backpack has held up very well. It is not very big, so I've never used it for school/college, but I use it every time we go camping, on vacation, to the beach, out for a day, or just if I am going to the library to study. It's so simple and versatile. After three years of regular usage, there is not a single tear and the seams are still sturdy. Almost 0 fraying. Mine is the color "pink" and while there are a couple stains, it is overall quite resistant to dirtiness. I use it both for light loads (a couple books), and for a travel bag (when it is stuffed full.) The straps can be somewhat uncomfortable when carrying lots of weight due to their slimness and tendency to push into the shoulders, but after a while, you get used to it, and the design of the backpack resists ALL back pain. I know some people use it for college, but I tend to like a larger and more compartmentalized bag for classes. I would recommend this backpack to anyone who is looking for a sturdy, cute, eco friendly day bag. Overall, although it is a little pricey, I think this bag is worth every penny.
