This is my forever roasting pan. The cast iron really holds the heat, and gives great color to the poultry, meats, and vegetables I use it for. Can also go on top of the stove to create nice gravy and sauces.
Made in France, this pan is made to last. Staub will not warp like my previous pan, is very easy to clean, withstands very high temperatures, and is a great serving piece. Love all these features which is why I recommend this to anyone sitting on the fence.

You can't beat cast iron for roasting due to the heat conduction and distribution. I love this size for a chicken and adding the vegetables to the pan with the chicken to roast in all the yummy juices from the chicken. I do a roast chicken weekly and they come out moist and golden brown every time! The vegetables are seasoned and roast along with the chicken and come out beautifully. It is nice to have cookware that makes you look like a culinary star!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan arrived in perfectly secure packaging, as described, and it looks amazing! It is one of those pieces of bakeware you won't want to put away after you clean it. I love that it works with any type of heat source and I didn't have to spend any time seasoning, I could put it right to work. Obviously, it is still new for me, but it feels like it will last forever, and I love a company like this that will stand behind their products!

This baker is nice and deep It is perfect for casseroles and I use it for leftover storage all the time. It goes from the freezer to the oven, up to 572F with no thermal shock problems. It also goes in the microwave and is dishwasher safe. I like that it stays hot for a long period of time - all the way through dinner.

Large & Deep Baker...

Enameled inside & out, this large baker handles anything you throw at it. Any cooking surface, any dish you decide, this heavy cast iron baker won't complain!! Cleans quuite easily afterwards as well.

Great roaster pan

This is a great roasting pan in comparison to using a stainless steel roaster. The enameled cast iron really helps retain the heat inside while you make that beautiful turkey with all the veggies with it.

This heavy duty roasting pan is always up to the task. The cast iron will perfectly brown and sear whatever you put in this pan, resulting in juicy and flavorful food. The graphite grey will make it stand out and go with any kitchen decor.

Cooks should have taken advantage having a roasting pan that is so useful even for baking. Staub cast iron is enameled cookware. This is better than keep buying not durable nonstick pan. Cast iron properties of natural heat retention and redistribution is outstanding cooking wise, saves you time, gas and effort. Colorful enamel outside adds flare to your kitchen and table. Safe for use on all types of heat sources, including gas, electric, and induction, and oven safe up to 500F. With exceptional durability, it is perfect for day-to-day use. Chip resistant and dishwasher safe.
