Very good price and product. The display quality supervised me, although it take some time to make all settings work well with my PC. When you open HDR on your windows, make sure to open HDR on your monitor also. And don't forget to check if there are any conflicts between the monitor settings of your motherboard control center and your windows color settings.
The only issue I've had with it is the HDR sometimes doesn't play nice with my laptop but otherwise this monitor solved all my monitor worries. I came from a 27" 4k Dell and I can barely tell the difference in PPI. My Galaxy 4 Edge ARM laptop displays in 5k 75hz which is honestly good enough for productivity. Gaming on it is great with my laptop. The curve is slightly too shallow but better than flat and way better than the 800R on other 40" monitors. I'm very happy with it for work and I'm sure it'll be good enough for gaming at 120hz once I get my dedicated GPU
This was very easy to set up and has a lot of features. We opted to use an HDMI cable to test it out and didn't have to change any settings to get it working. Comes with USB-C and B cables and DP cable. We immediately watched a movie on it. The color is amazing. I gave it to my gf for Christmas. She'll be content creating with it and I'll be "stealing" it to play games. I might have to get another one.
I just received the monitor yesterday. I like 5k2k. It just works for productivity. Other than that, you get what you pay for. PROs - 5k2k, a big step up even from my 43" 4K. Super useful for WFH and coding. - Color is Okay but not outstanding. It's similar to my other IPS. I'm comparing side by side to my 6 yr old Dell 24" UltraSharp 1440p & SAMSUNG S80A 27" 4K. All IPS monitor. - Lightweight, so should be easy to find a monitor arm. CONs - HORRIBLE Ghosting (I use testufo for testing). You'll see "tails" and "ghost" by simple vertical scrolling and windows dragging. I did the test because I realize ghosting while using it. I'd never experiences the same issue on my OLD IPS monitors. I did the same test to my other monitors and they are fine. - USB-C is not working for me. No video Output. Does not act as a hub. Mouse and Keyboard wont work unless I connect the monitor with USB-A. Not sure if it charge. Other users claim USB-C works, so I might just got a lemon. - HORRIBLE Sound. Surprisingly, it has build-in speakers. But it sounds like walkie-talkie. Yes, it's that bad. - Decent quality. You can see and feel it. The build quality is not in the same level as other well known brand. I have 45 days to test it out. Although there's rumor that it's using the same panel as the LG, I'm not quite sure due to heaving ghosting. I don't know how long will this monitor last. The build quality just not giving me the confident.
I was lucky enough to be one of the first to use this behemoth of a monitor and it was an existential experience. I have never felt more connected with my screen. Movies. Games. Work. It brings my screen to life right in front of me. Thank you, Deco Gear.
I received this product wednesday and it changed the way I do schoolwork. I can't go back to a monitor under 40 inches after this. The colors, the room on the screen, it's all everything I need from a monitor
