This is definitely a must have for contractor's. I cut seven stringers for stairs with one battery. The power is very similar to a corded saw.

Good Power & Battery Performance So Far

We recently had the opportunity to try out this circular saw for a few specific DIY cuts and projects my wife had going on around the house, and so far so good. The saw felt smooth while cutting, had solid power, and kept up well throughout the cuts. One thing we immediately noticed compared to another competitor cordless saw we had previously tried was the battery performance. With the competitor brand, the battery power just honestly wasn’t there for us, so it was nice seeing this saw hold up better during use.

This replaced an 18V Ryobi saw. It. Is a pleasure to use. I’m amazed at the instant blade stop upon releasing the trigger. Greenworks makes excellent tools and this is no exception!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 18 months ago. The deck is bowed and you can't adjust it to make 90 degree cuts. It's horrible inaccurate. If you are rough cutting dimensional lumber and it isn't necessary to have square cuts this would be ok, otherwise, it's pretty unimpressive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with both tools! The circular saw did all the cutting I needed it for, ripping some 1/4 luan. The impact driver proved very useful removing embedded screws. I have several Green Works tools and all are top notch.
