Loooong life in this battery. I’ve always had good luck with Greenworks tools and batteries. The only negative I can think of is the weight of the battery, but if you’re looking for extended time using a tool, it’s a minor consideration.

Great batteries for as part of lawn care system

The life on these batteries is excellent. It took me about 90 minutes to mow myb1/2 acre undulating yard that hadn't been cut in 6 weeks.The first battery lasted over an hour and the second had all the charge light showing when finished mowing. On the 80 V blower the standard battery lasts for over an hour at medium speed.

The battery is larger and heavier than expected but has good run time. However, my 11 month old Greenworks charger died while charging it and the company did not offer any compensation or rebate. I had already bought 4 greenworks 80v tools so I'm too heavily invested to go elsewhere. Had to buy a new charger at full price. I'd recommend going with Kobalt instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
