Snowblower 80v 2stage

Basic size L driveway fits 6 cars approx 1400 sq ft
Had to charge batteries 3x to clear roughly 7” of wet heavy snow. First time it was used. Batteries were stored room temp and 3 were used at same time 80v 4amp came with snowblower. One was always red and had to wait to charge it was warm to the touch. This just was not worth the money. Batteries had to be charged way too many times. I have a load of other greenworks tools and stuff. But this was a horrible experience and embarrassing. All my neighbors were clean and back inside while I waited for batteries to charge. 3 x !!!!

Wet and heavy will draw more power from the battery, if you are using the unit in wet snow, adjust the height of the snow stream by raising the chute deflector, allowing the maximum amount of wet snow to be discharged. For best use in heavy snow types, you will want to move less at once and move a little quicker. Once a full pass has been completed, only move about a third of the width of the unit with each pass going forward. This will help with the load acting against the unit and should hopefully assist in a more enjoyable user experience. Blows Snow Well, But Leaves Too Much Behind

I have several Greenworks 80V products, and I've loved them. I don't feel the same about this snow blower and I'm hoping to get this resolved.

Handle is Tough to Work
The handle feels like it is going to break when turning the blowing direction and it requires too much force, at least compared to other models, both Greenworks brand and others I've tried.

Instructions
The instructions were terrible. I put together another Greenworks snow blower a month or two ago (the 20" version) and it was quick. The instructions were super confusing and cost me an extra hour or so of cold frustration in my garage.

Missing Springs
The green handle on the dispenser needs springs, but they weren't included. I searched everywhere in the box and never saw them.

Blows Snow Well
One good thing is that the snow that makes it into the blower is blown well. Seems like a decent machine, just needs a few tweaks for me to actually like it.

Blower does not operate properly

I bought the snowblower 4 days ago. The assembly was fairly simple to do. It worked okay the first time I used it...2 days ago. Today, I tried using it in 2 inch fluffy snow. It will only run less than 30 seconds before it stops. I have to repeatedly restart it every 20-30 seconds. The battery is fully charged. There is no indication of overheating.
Pros: Quiet, Environmentally Safe
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do t waste your money

Tried it on 1” of wet snow, total failure. Very difficult to push and plugged up immediately. Was much easier to shovel. I f I could give a lower rating than 1 I would

When using any snow thrower on wet snow, there is a chance of clogging. Often, the reason for this is the speed of the impeller causes wet snow/slush to freeze. Depending on the weight of the wet snow that you are trying to throw, the unit will shut off if there is too much weight for the unit to handle at once. For best use in wet snow, users should move less at once and move a little quicker. Once a full pass has been completed, only move about a third of the width of the unit with each pass going forward. This will help with the load acting against the unit and should hopefully assist in a more enjoyable user experience.

Fantastic leaf blower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for my first leaf blower that failed. Came with battery and charger and has worked thru the year i have had it. This blower does the job and is easy to use.

Completely useless snow blower: 80V 20" Cordless B

Clogs up constantly and overwhelmed with 5" of snow. Return window has closed, so I am now stuck with a piece of equipment I cannot use. Additionally, I invested in batteries. So wasted several hundreds of dollars. "Thank you" Greenworks.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Just purchased on-line from a major supplier one of these snow blowers. The unit arrived yesterday with several issues that were the fault of the supplier and not the fault of Greenworks. I contacted Customer Service at Greenworks and the person I talked to was extremely courteous and took time to discuss the issues and the details of the order. Even though the issues were not the fault of Greenworks they went out of their way to correct all of them. I can't comment yet on the snow blower but once we get a chance to use it I will. I just wanted to comment on the great customer service we received. We have several other products from Greenworks and have never had a problem with any of them. Great products and a great company to do business with.
