Awkward and not as powerful as the 80V 500 CFM 80V 500 CFM Cordless Brushless Axial Blower.

Hello todaline We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with your new product. There are usually two types of cordless leaf blowers that use batteries as their source of power. One is the handheld and another one is the backpack. It is up to you which one you prefer to be used in your gardening works. A general rule regarding which one to use is the backpack leaf blower is usually heavier but very comfortable to carry. It will usually have more power than the handheld leaf blower, thus suitable to be used in large areas. The handheld leaf blower is usually smaller and light in weight. Therefore, very easy to carry, however; the power of handheld leaf blower is usually less than the backpack leaf blower; is suitable for small to medium size areas. I bought this because I was tired of constant problems with my gas back pack blower. So far I have used it for last three weeks blowing off driveway and garage. Still on first charge. Battery lasts great.
We received our backpack blower about s month ago and my husband finds new ways to use it every week! Grass clippings, leaves, pine needles, you name it...we even had a water leak on our attic this week and he used it to blow away the excess water and dry out the flooring! It's lightweight, but powerful with a better than average battery life. The design not only makes it easy to wear, but so comfy I can use it too!
I have a deck on the back of my house that is surrounded by 100 foot hardwood trees. In the fall there are a million leaves. Through out the years a lot of stuff comes off of those trees and makes a mess of my deck. I used to have to get the blower out, untangle to cord, move the grill to plug is in and worry about the cord getting caught on the chairs, table, etc. Now all I have to do is grab the blower and push the battery in and I'm blowing off my deck right away. My grandkids love to do it also, now that's a first. I don't sacrifice any power using a battery powered blower and the convenience is incredible. When I blow off my drive way I use to have to get the extra long extension cord that still didn't completely reach the end of the driveway....no more, the battery power goes everywhere. I like the three levels of blowing power too. I mean I can blow off my mower without and fear of blowing a hole through it when it's on high. It's good for the small front porch also, because I need a lower blowing power to not knock over the planters. It's a little heavier than a corded blower, but not by much and the convenience it incredible. I love the recharge time, less than thirty minutes for an 80 Volt, that's good!
