Batteries run out QUICKLY. Very frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The batteries are very expensive and they don’t hold a charge like they should. You “might” get 10-12 minutes out of one. My leaf blower goes through 3 batteries in about 20 minutes. Then you have to wait 45-60 minutes for it to get back to a full charge. The unit is also very heavy. If you don’t have carpel tunnel or other wrist/elbow/shoulder/back problems, just wait - you will. I can’t physically rake by hand for long anymore, so this is what I’m stuck with. It’s fine when it’s running, but I hope you’re not in a hurry, because it will take your whole day waiting for batteries to recharge.

Thank you for sharing your experience with this 60V Blower. Blowers are considered a high-power draw application which means they do tend to drain the battery quite rapidly in comparison to some other tools. If using a 2.5AH battery on High speed, your run time would be up to 15 minutes; the slower the speed, the longer the run time. When used at a Low speed, this battery can yield up to 50 mins. If you're receiving a run time of 10-12 minutes, it seems like you may be using it at High speed. Battery Recharge Time: 50 min with 3A charger. The times provided in this review do appear to be average.
To extend your run time, try using the blower setting on a lower speed when high speed is not a requirement.
Alternatively additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with Greenworks 60V batteries; please keep in mind, the higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is, the longer the run time will be. The larger amp hour batteries can be used for most 60V tools in the Greenworks 60v line but are essentials for larger tools like the mowers for optimal runtime. The weight for this blower (without battery pack) 5.3 lbs. (2.4 kg). Keep in mind the higher the AH the more the battery will weigh which can make it a bit more difficult to use the blower.

This blower has plenty of power and it’s so easy to use! No more gas, oil, and mess! My wife is also very happy with our choice. It's lightweight and easy to use, and I especially love that I don't have to fill it up with a gas/oil mixture or plug it in. This blower gets an A+++!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned mine for 4 years. Still blows strong!! I'm always impressed with it's power. I can walk up the left side of my drive and clear the whole drive with low power (and I have a very long friveway). Mine has gotten a touch finicky with the battery, sometimes not wanting to activate/turn on the blower, but once it's taken out and put back in, it usually works fine. I've never needed more power. Having more than one battery is a smart move.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

Very light to pick up even with battery installed. Has a throttle lock so you don't have to keep your finger on the trigger all the time. Comes with a shoulder strap to help support it. Definitely recommend to buy.
